Q: What does the Basic Course program cost for Jaguar Sports model owners?

This course is complimentary to U.S. residents within twelve (12) months of purchase of one of the following new Jaguar models: XKR (Coupe or Convertible), XKR-S (Coupe or Convertible), XFR, XFR-S or XJ/XJL Supersport.*

Q: Can non-Jaguar owners or visitors from other countries attend?

Yes. The Basic Course is available on a fee basis for any licensed driver who is at least 21 years old. (You will be asked to show your driver's license at the event.) The cost for this course is $1,850.00.

Q: What about the Advanced Course?

The Advanced Course is offered to all drivers for a fee of $2,495.00, but is restricted to those who have already participated in the Performance Driving Academy Basic Course or a similar program. For details, please call the Jaguar Academy Concierge at (866) 513-7200.

Q: What's included in the fee?

Jaguar provides the cars, instructors, racetrack amenities and safety equipment, including helmets, plus food at the evening reception and during the day at the track. If you stay at the selected hotel, Jaguar will also provide transportation to and from the track on track day. Otherwise you are responsible for travel to and from the track, as well as your own room accommodations and meals, other than food provided during the program.

Q: What do I need to do to participate?

You can secure your space at the Jaguar Performance Driving Academy by completing the registration form on this site. You’ll choose the location and date of your choice. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email outlining a hotel recommendation near the track and any available negotiated rates at that time. Finally, you will need to arrange for your own travel to the event.

All participants staying at the recommended hotel will receive complimentary transportation to and from the track.

Please join us for a welcome reception at the hotel the evening prior to your day at the track. Your track experience begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m.

Please dress comfortably. Closed-toed, flat-bottomed shoes are required.

Q: As a Jaguar R or Supersport model owner, is my spot in the Performance Academy guaranteed?

Spaces in the Jaguar Performance Driving Academy are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You will have 12 months from the time you purchase your vehicle to attend a complimentary session. Please refer to the Schedule page for event dates and locations.

Q: Can I bring a guest?

Yes, but only the participant may drive at the track. All non-driving guests will be charged $150.00 to attend the track event. Your guest will need to be registered at least one week prior to your event date. Your guest will be invited to the reception the night before, and participate in the Driving Theory workshop, photo with the drivers, one hot lap as a passenger and all catering at the track. Please contact the Jaguar Academy Concierge at (866) 513-7200 to assist you with registering your guest.

Q: How do I get to the track from the hotel?

If you elect to stay at the recommended hotel near the track, the instructors and staff will drive you from the hotel to the track and back to the hotel at the conclusion of the event. If you prefer to stay at another hotel, you will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the track.

Q: I've never driven on a racetrack before. Is that a problem?

We use a racetrack because it is the safest environment to learn about car control. This is not a racing school. It is a high-performance driving academy where you will learn how to use more of a vehicle's performance. Our highly skilled driving coaches will explain how to utilize this performance, and demonstrate the incredible capabilities of the Jaguar XFR, XKR and XJ Supersport.

Q: I already have plenty of racing experience. What's in it for me?

If you have racing experience, you certainly understand the enjoyment of fast driving on a track. At the Jaguar Performance Driving Academy you will receive expert coaching from drivers with established racing credentials who are also highly adept at transferring their skills to you. You will also be able to gain experience on a track you may not have raced on before. Our objective is for you to enjoy yourself while exploring the fantastic capabilities of a new Jaguar sports model.

Q: What if I cannot attend the event that I have already registered for?

Once registered, if you are unable to attend your complimentary session, please contact the Jaguar Academy Concierge immediately at (866) 513-7200 so that we can assist you with rescheduling. We appreciate 72 hours advance notice of all cancellations. Participants canceling less than 72 hours of the event may lose the opportunity to reschedule.

Q: What if I'm a fee-paying participant and I cannot attend?

If your schedule changes, please contact the Jaguar Academy Concierge immediately at (866) 513-7200 so that we can assist you. A cancellation 15 days or more prior to your scheduled event day is subject to a $100.00 non-refundable fee. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to your driving event day are subject to a $250.00 non-refundable fee. There is no charge for changing location or days.

A cancellation for a guest within 14 days of your event date is non-refundable.

Q: Can I drive my own car on the track?

No. Jaguar will provide the vehicles at the track. These vehicles are maintained by Jaguar personnel to meet the safety requirements of the program. Insurance regulations do not allow personal vehicles to be used.

Q: Are there any circumstances that would limit my participation?

Any Performance Academy staff member reserves the right to limit any person's participation due to things such as, but not limited to, apparent intoxication, or perceived inability to safely operate an automobile or partake in an activity.
