  • Emergency Braking.

    EMERGENCY BRAKING

Helps to prevent collisions with other vehicles and pedestrians using camera, radar and ultrasonic sensors. If a potential front collision is detected, the system gives audible and visual warnings. If no action is taken*, the system applies the brakes to help reduce the severity of the possible impact.

*Please note that if any action is taken, even minimal steering, the Emergency Braking system will assume the driver resumed control of the vehicle and the system will automatically disengage.

Cruise control is standard in the XE, as is Speed Limiter, which lets you set a maximum vehicle speed.4

Detects when the vehicle is unintentionally drifting out of its lane and applies a corrective torque to the steering wheel to gently guide your vehicle back.4

  • Rear Camera Parking Assist.

    PARK ASSIST

Parallel and perpendicular parking are made easier with optional Park Assist, which steers your vehicle into and out of a suitable space. After selecting either Drive or Reverse, you only have to control the vehicle’s speed. Graphics and notifications will guide you through the maneuvers.4

    360° PARKING AID

Gives complete confidence when maneuvering in tight spaces. The optional 360° Parking Aid includes sensors that can be either manually activated or automatically triggered when Reverse is selected. When maneuvering, graphics and audio feedback indicate your proximity to obstacles.4

  • Rear Traffic Monitor.

    REAR TRAFFIC MONITOR

  • Jaguar XE Adaptive Cruise Control.

    ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

The optional Adaptive Cruise Control keeps the XE a set distance from the car in front of you, even when it slows. In stop-start traffic, Adaptive Cruise Control will automatically resume following the car in front.4

  • High-Speed Emergency Braking.

    HIGH-SPEED EMERGENCY BRAKING

Detects when a potential frontal collision with another vehicle may occur and displays an alert, warning you to brake. In the event you do not react11, optional High-speed Emergency Braking will deploy the car brakes to help reduce the severity of any possible impact.4

  • Blind Spot Assist.

    BLIND SPOT ASSIST

Optional Blind Spot Assist can help you prevent collisions. If your vehicle detects another car in your blind spot when you begin to change lanes, a small warning light illuminates in the corresponding side mirror and corrective torque applied to the steering wheel guides you away from the approaching vehicle.5
