The I‑TYPE 3 is Panasonic Jaguar Racing's all-electric Formula E race car. Designed to deliver the ultimate balance of power and efficiency, it accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and has a maximum power of 250 kW. Discover more about the car's components below.


Throughout practice and qualifying sessions, maximum power is permitted. During races, however, power-saving mode will apply with the "Push to Pass" system temporarily allowing maximum power for a limited period of 5 seconds.

Produced by McLaren Applied Technologies, the new Generation 2 battery has 85% more usable energy (52 kWh up from 28 kWh).
